Training

As our name suggests our passion is to be involved with providing an organisation’s leadership with assurance (SURE) that their Strategy (STRAT) can be achieved by using global best practice disciplines.  Right now hundreds of organisations use their own “style” to bring about change.  Globally accepted best practice methods provide improved control, more efficiency and improved team work to bring about changes.  In our pursuit of excellence – style matters.  We feel fulfilled when our training induces a desire to do things good, better and best.

Projects are the pawns of the change game.

At the lowest level of change we provide project management courses (PRINCE2® and Agile) at foundation and practitioner levels.

Most projects deliver outputs to contribute to a programme.  Programmes are linked to supporting the achievement of corporate goals.

The effectiveness of people involved in bringing about change can be enhanced when the appropriate software tools are used.  This explains our interest in developing software skills.

Purpose of our courses

Attending a course enriches the delegates with a good serving of theory and a taste of how the methodology should be applied.  After the course they return to their workplace and often fall back into old habits.  Sadly the delegate loses their newly found skills resulting in waste.

Prof David A Kolb produced some writings about “experiential” learning that included:

  • Participate in concrete learning experiences, followed by
  • Observations and reflections of the theory in practice (seeing how it should be done), then
  • Formation of abstract conceptions and generalisations (forming their own understanding)
  • Testing implications of  concepts in new situations (experimenting)

When this cycle is repeated, skills and competencies are reinforced and have the ability to expand.  Experiential learning yields a sound return on the training investment resulting in benefits to all.

Stratsure wishes to partner with organisations that share this vision for their staff and organisation.
