MoP® Foundation and Practitioner

Course Objective

MoP® defines & delivers the organisation’s investment in change: all of its programmes & standalone projects. The purpose of the Practitioner qualification is to confirm whether the candidate has achieved sufficient understanding of how to apply and tailor the MoP® guidance and to analyse portfolio data, documentation and roles in relation to a scenario situation.

Course Details

This course takes place over five days, including the optional Foundation & Practitioner examinations. Delegates should be aware that considerable evening preparation and consolidation will be required to pass the exam. Joining instructions are sent out approximately 2 weeks before the course

Delegate Profile

This qualification is aimed at those involved in a range of formal and informal portfolio management roles encompassing investment decision making, project and programme delivery, and benefits realization. It is relevant to all those involved in the selection and delivery of business change initiatives.

Trainer Profile

All AFA trainers are practicing project managers with considerable experience in a wide range of industry sectors. The use of hybrid trainer-practitioners ensures the trainers have up-to-date, real world knowledge of implementing the methods.

Pre-course work

Typically pre-course preparation will require 2-3 hours of study

The Exam

The foundation exam consists of a 45 minute multiple-choice paper, to be completed at the end of the course.

The Practitioner exam consists of a 3 hour scenario based, multiple choice open book exam
